The Chennai District Chess Association (CDCA) proudly commemorates 50 years of unwavering service to the game of chess, marking a prestigious Golden Jubilee that stands as a testament to five decades of structured growth, competitive integrity, and exemplary administration.
Founded in a city globally acclaimed as the cradle of Indian chess, CDCA has played a pivotal role in shaping the chess ecosystem of Chennai. Over the years, the Association has been instrumental in identifying, nurturing, and empowering generations of players, arbiters, coaches, and organizers, many of whom have gone on to make significant contributions at the district, state, national, and international levels.
